Our return trip from Ubin and Chek Jawa brought us back to the area called Changi. Here we stopped for a late lunch before heading back to the Pasir Panjang area. After our meal we saw (in the trees along the sidewalk) a sunbird and a parakeet—looking bigger than I expected for a parakeet based on pets I have seen in the U.S.
